WORKS

This project focuses on the phenomenon of unmanned visual media being applied in political events. It aims to explore the relationship behind image generation, gamification, and power control through a manipulable video game.

Unmanned technology not only brings new visual perspectives and conveniences to modern society but also harbors various contradictions and conflicts between image toys, shooting equipment, and killing tools. We frequently face this media representation that carries visual pleasure, generating a "distorted" impression: war is "low-friction," "low-contact," and "impersonal". The real suffering of individuals is diluted by highly fluid and smooth images, which also reshape aerial territories.

In this work, the experiencer views video projected onto generated terrain from a drone's god-view perspective, controlling the direction of movement and manipulation of videoplay through a joystick.
